Chad Spitler is a Partner and Head of Sustainable Business Practices at CamberView Partners. Mr. Spitler previously served as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Before joining CamberView, Mr. Spitler served for 15 years as a senior executive at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, most recently as Managing Director and COO for the Corporate Governance & Responsible Investment team. In that role, he advised institutional clients on sustainable investing and oversaw analysis of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors within the firm’s investment process, including issuer engagement and proxy voting. Prior to that, Mr. Spitler was a Senior Market Research Analyst with the Franklin Templeton Group.
Mr. Spitler is a member of the Broadridge Steering Committee, the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Finance Committee of the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission and the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources Visiting Committee.
He holds an M.A. from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in natural resource management from the University of Michigan.
